source: http://www.nba.com/news/allstar_051215.html well bosh is ranked 9th in fowards for the East so far--it does not look good for him
^^^ but that doesn't stop him from being in the All-Star game if coaches pick him as a reserve then you can bet you'll see in in the All-Star game
lmao Amare SToudemire who hasn't played a game yet has more votes than Elton Brand one of the front runners for the MVP.
It's not like we were expecting Bosh to make it as a starter anyways. About coaches picking, let's look at one thing, Brand had 20-10 in Chicago and was beat by Dale Davis who average 9-9 on a winning team, unless the Raptors do better, Bosh will have a hard time beating Pierce, Jamison, Jefferson, Webber, Artest [if still in the East] etc who are putting up better numbers than that and not on one of the worst teams in the league.
Bosh won't get voted in as a starter because he doesn't get much publicity being on one of the worst teams in the league. But people are starting to notice so it's only a matter of time. He'll be an all-star either way, he'll just be a reserve. BTW: isn't McGrady and Pierce usually in the guard category and Vince in the forwards?

BTW: isn't McGrady and Pierce usually in the guard category and Vince in the forwards?</div> They put them in their actual position this year, which is also why Bosh will be hard pressed to make it. At most you can have 6 forwards make it to the All-Star game, usually it's about 5. The starters will be Lebron James and Jermaine O'neal, so let's say their's 3 spots left. Remaining Candidates: Paul Pierce, Antawn Jamison, Chris Webber, Ron Artest, Rasheed Wallace, Dwight Howard, Richard Jefferson. All those guys are on better teams and outside of Rasheed are putting up numbers that can rival or beat Bosh's numbers. Off the bench the locks will be: <font color=""Navy"">Pierce:</font> 26.5 PPG | 8.6 RPG | 4.1 APG | 48.7% FG | 44.4% 3PT | 9-12 W/L Then Bosh has to battle: <font color=""Navy"">Jamison:</font> 19.4 PPG | 11.4 RPG | 2.0 APG | 1.4 SPG | 9-11 W/L <font color=""navy"">Webber:</font> 19.4 PPG | 10.4 RPG | 3.5 APG | 1.04 SPG | 12-11 W/L <font color=""navy"">Jefferson:</font> 19.2 PPG | 8.9 RPG | 4.1 APG | 49.6% FG | 9-12 W/L <font color=""navy"">Howard:</font> 15.1 PPG | 13.3 RPG | 1.5 APG | 1.45 BPG | 49.1% FG | 9-11 W/L <font color=""navy"">Rasheed:</font> 14.8 PPG | 6.6 RPG | 2.2 APG | 1.89 SPG | Team #1 in League <font color=""navy"">Artest:</font> Who knows... <font color=""navy"">Bosh:</font> 22.2 PPG | 9.7 RPG | 2.5 APG | 47.6% FG | 4-18 W/L My picks right now would be Webber since his team is over .500, and even with his lower numbers, Rasheed Wallace because his team is #1 in the league.
