The jets have made some great moves and I wouldn't be suprized whether in two years they will transerfer from crap to champs. The pats are still great and so are the colts and ravens and pit. But I defanatly think the Jets are contenders for the champ. What do you think?

They've definitely made some improvements, but not enough to be Super Bowl contenders IMO. There are better teams out there, the Patriots, Eagels, Pitt, Colts ECT. They just aren't there yet IMO.Maybe a little later in the future will they be contendors, but not just yet.

I agree with you. First the Jets need to beat the Pats to win the divison, that should be first on there list. Not a championship.

I have to disagree with you, when you look at the Jets/Pats/Colts/Steelers on paper, I think they are all about the same level. Its just a matter of who goes and puts it all togeather and becomes a serious contender and I think the Jets can and will do it.

I think they could get there, but there are so many other teams that are better or just as good as the jets.

I dont know, i think the teams sucess depends on Chad Penningtons should problem. If he can heal up then they should go far, if not they could have problems. I saw some of the Jets preseason game tonight and he looked pretty good, had a good opening drive and found Laverneus for a TD. A concern of mine would be his ability to throw deep, he attempted to in the game but he over threw his WR. Thier defense seems fine, and improved since they landed Ty Law, hopefully he can come back from his injury and stay healty.

Just watch. [IMG] According to Chad Pennington that was the first time in 2 years he has thrown deep without any pain, which to me means that theres a good chance the 2002 Chad Pennington could be coming back and thats a scary thought with this team.

Jets are going all the way, Chad is fine, vertical passing game will prove good with coles, coctherty to have a good year aswell as McCariens, and hopefully Jolley will catch the ball more and give us some good blocking

Chad looked class in the game vs Vikings, once he gets back to 100% he will be passing 30 odd yards non-stop.Our defence is one of the strongest going now, so I really cant see why not we cant get to the SuperBowl
