If he came here, he'd spend less time as a Blazer than Jrue Holliday.

If Philly is getting both Brogdon and Martin for a problematic player, they can give us at least a first rounder instead of two second rounders

There are very few less Heat players I can think of than James Harden. Only way he is in Miami is if the 76ers insist that the Heat take him in an Embiid trade.

Harden would be just a perfect fit. He would love the strip joints over in Springfield

Only way I see him being on the Blazers is if it is temporary. Doubt it because Philly has tied up their first round picks, so it would probably have to be a three team deal and Harden going directly to that other team.

Yeah, I’d make sure they agree to convert some of our future 2nds into an unprotected 1st if they want to get rid of a problem like Harden right now.

Cronin may be having to play the patient-game again, but that’s fine. They’re fighting against the clock, are there any players that become eligible in December that would help any more than Brogdon?

If Cronin can flip disgruntled superstar Lillard for:
    3 1sts, 2 Celtics, and a Bucks rookie...
imagine what Joe can do with a Harden supermax ??

I'd be almost certain that Miami would prefer a year of Lowry than a year of Harden. But maybe they are wildly desperate.

If the Blazers trade Brogdon, and I'm not convinced that's their immediate intention, they should have a draft pick priority. That being they already have two picks and two swaps coming in for the 2028-2030 drafts; actually, 5 picks and 2 swaps if you count their own. That's overloaded

but they only have their own lottery protected 1st's in the 2025-2027 drafts. If they want to accumulate a solid collection of draft assets they need at least one more first coming in in 2025-2027

the other side of that, I suppose, is that if the pick(s) in 2025-2027 have a high probability of being in the 20-30 range and the pick(s) for Brogdon have a decent shot of being in the 1-15 range in 2028-2030, then maybe it's best to overload some more and have those assets to dangle in trades

I saw somewhere that right after Harden called Morey a liar, Morey went and got Oubre, who stole (and eventually married, IIRC) Harden's girlfriend in Houston, lol...
