There is an anual celebrity softball game hosted by AI in Bowie, Maryland. I went last year and I'm going this year. Its cool to see all of the people who play. I've known about the event for a while but I never had any idea he got that many athletes and celebrities to go. I knew he got some but never knew got that many. It would be really cool to go to it if I lived in that area.
It's suprising to me that Aaron Brooks isn't on that list... AI, Vick and Brooks grew up together in Newport News, VA. I remember watching an ESPN SportsCentury episode on AI's high school football career (you know you're good when they do a damn episode on your high school football career when you're a professional basketball player), and Vick went on record saying that Iverson would make a better NFL quarterback than Vick does, and that AI was the main reason Vick played football.Another suprise... no Chris Webber.
I knew that Larry and AI are pretty tight, but I didnt think that AI liked Gil and Jamison..maybe its the local area thing. And dayum, you better get some autographs, man.BTW - What the hell is Greg Buckner doing on that list?

The baseball season is currently taking place, so I'm thinking that's the biggest reason why no baseball players were invited.Also, about the "no white guys" thing, I think Korver was there last year, right? If he was, I really don't know why he isn't there again this year. He and Iverson are pretty tight.
