AI wants out? He said so? Let me see,he's type of player won't be let go away for nothing, ofcourse he would be traded but AI won't become a FA after this season,he has like 5 year deal in his pocket.AI loves Philly and he problably won't leave himself. P.S. Next time post a link where AI says he wants out.
Billy King already said that he wasn't going to trade him but he could've said that just to calm things down
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting B-22:</div><div class="quote_post">Billy King already said that he wasn't going to trade him but he could've said that just to calm things down</div> Every GM lies about their future plans, didn't Bulls's GM say he won't trade Jalen Rose?
AI will definitly be traded I have no doubt in my mind about that. Where he is going is a different story though, who knows maybe he will jump on the bobcats band-wagon and become that teams franchise playa.
I dont think he'll go on the Bobcats. He can be the franchise player for about 3 years or so. Buts thats it. If Bobcats want a franchise player that can carry them for another 5-6 years they better try to get McGrady. As for Iverson leaving Philly. I dont know. I basically think they had a bad season because they have no coach. If they can get Mo Cheeks or Jim O' Brien next season. I think things will turn out good. And turn out the way the Sixers fans were expecting them to turn out this season...As one of the best teams in the East. If I were Billy King I would just try to get a new a coach. See how they do for the first half of the season, and if things arent going to good thats when you can think of trading AI. And you cant blame Iverson either, this whole season he's been injured. You cant expect much out of Iverson nor any other player to play like a MVP after getting one injury after another. He hasnt even been able to play 10 games in a row this season. On the other hand if Billy King trades AI. AI better be heading to LA so he can team up with Big Diesel and get a ring. I think AI and Shaq would be one of the best combination's in the league. Afterall we all know how much Shaq loves AI. And Kobe wouldnt mind going to the East. It would be much easier for him to make the playoff's. He would be the only star. So that means all eye's on him. PLUS he's from Philly.

But then again. What happens if Kobe trial turns out good. And is able to play next season. Which I think well happen. Kobe isnt going to jail.
Kobe for Iverson---Dream or nightmare trade? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In the August 2002 issue of Philadelphia magazine, Kobe Bryant appears on the cover wearing a retro Sixers uniform. The number on the jersey is 23 which, of course, was what Jellybean Joe--Kobe's father--wore on his shirt during his Philly career. Curiously, 23 was Michael Jordan's number, too, and we all know Kobe's dream has always been to be like Mike. "Kobe's game is all Philly," said Philadelphia magazine, "because he works his ass off." Kobe is from Philadelphia. And boy, does he need some brotherly love these days. In the 2002 NBA All-Star Game which Philadelphia hosted, Kobe was booed by the local fans because of something he said about Allen Iverson. Something about swearing he'd cut the Answer's heart out in a faceoff. But that's all forgotten. Time heals all wounds and I'm sure at this point of the regular season, Philly fans revere Kobe more than A. I. despite the Colorado incident. Kobe in a Philly uniform isn't unimaginable. In that cover picture, Kobe didn't look bad in red-white-and-blue. Maybe better than in purple and gold. I thought to myself--What about the Answer in purple and gold? Hey, that would be some switch. With rumors flying of an impending Iverson trade, you couldn't think of a more even swap. Kobe for Iverson. A deal made in heaven--or in hell? The Sixers live and die with Iverson and it's a situation that's unnerving. A. I.'s the team's go-to guy but at six-foot flat or shorter, he just isn't as potent when he's doubled by players much taller and much bigger. Philly's lack of a post threat to invite the double makes it easier for defenders to clamp down on the scrawny Iverson. For A. I. to play to his full potential, he's got to be paired with a dominant big man like a Shaq. Imagine a two-man strong side game anchored on Shaq and the Answer.</div> NBA Blog

i think allen iverson is going to retire, sources have reported that his knee injury is worse than expected. doctors today have confirmed that he might be on the IL in the beginning of next season, probable return early january 2005. he has a similar injury of what occured with grant hill, hopefully they won't rush iverson back in action like grant. its sad to see iverson take a fall like this, he's battle so many injuries before. Iverson has talked about retiring because he doesn't need the money and has said basketball has not been as fun as it has previously. If Iverson retires philly fans will be disappointed, but i'm sure he'll make a stunning recovery and play baseball for a year and then back to basketball LINK: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1771962 "GNIDDIK TSUJ MA I" *Decode the phrase in quotes

I would love to see Kobe in Philly and I also would love to see AI in LA cause he would have a BIG chance for the ring over there.I would make the trade right after this season is over,do you really think a sports great is going to jail?If Webber didn't go to jail then Kobe won't either.
Man I hope Ai goes to the Lakers and Kobe comes to philly. Ai needs a big man to dish too that would be awesome. Kobe has rings and I think he would love to be in philly following his dads footsteps and becoming the center of attention. Hope his shoulder is ok he might have to lay off that pumpfake dip and under move. All in all sounds good to me.
