I have read almost everywhere that AI will be traded this offseason. Would you trade Nenad Krstic, couple of draft picks and KK for Allen Iverson?
I wouldnt want AI. #1 he doesnt fit into the type of system we run. The Nets use alot of ball movement & motion in their offense. It would have to be totally changed for a guy who holds the ball like Iverson. #2 It would take away from the development of RJ. I like the player RJ is becoming in the Half-court. He is slowly becoming that one-one player the Nets. Having a guy like Iverson wont help his growth. #3 I would not give up Nenad Krstic right now. The big man spot is the nets weakest position on the court JC wont work in the long run as the Center if we want to win a a championship. If we have a talented young Frontcourt player to add to the fold of K-mart, JC & Awill I dont think we should trade him before giving him a serious look on the NBA level. #4 We need a guy who can stretch the defense with his ablity to shoot the basketball. Thats whats going to really open things up for Kidd, RJ, Kenyon. When we trade Kittles we better get an upgraded shooter.
AI won't fit in the Princeton Offense that we're running. Besides, Sixers will ask more than the players you mentioned.
