What do you expect from alot of other fans. Its funny how they come to our board with sacasm, but the minute I do it on another board is gets shot down, and I get into trouble for it. haha
^ true true.... laker fans are being discriminated in this forum. its like all the other members that arent LA fans are haters. laker racists?
In Allnet's defense he's always been hard on the Lakers. It just makes winning moments against the Spurs even more enjoyable. Like the Derek Fisher buzzer beater, and the Lakers beating the Spurs 4 straight in the playoffs last season. As for the match-up with Kobe vs. Ray, I'm looking forward to it. The game is important enough, but having a war or words and two players gunning for each other makes it even more exciting. I just hope Kobe can stay within the gameplan and not get caught up trying to show Ray Allen up in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw both coaches avoid a Ray vs. Kobe matchup. Neither team can afford to lose their star player if they lose their cool and start fighting on the court.
Come on, let's stop the arguing. Try this thread: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29076

In relation to this fued, I would just like to point out that Kobe has some serious trust issues. He needs to realize that you can't start disliking someone simply because they don't agree with your actions. I remember clearly, Kobe going up to Ray with a huge smile and hugging him after their first meeting with Ray in the green and gold. "Welcoming him to the western conference" as stated by the announcers. Talking and joking with him for a while. Kobe had no problem with Ray, until Ray said some things that everyone else has been saying all offseason . Then Kobe comes out and says that he motivated Ray, and that's why the Sonics are so good . Please, all NBA players should be motivated to play hard. As if people need Kobe Bryants words in order to make them play well. I'm sorry, but I hope that the Lakers go 0-4 against Seattle, and not just because they are my 2nd favorite team. Then again, if the Lakers don't beat the Sonics this year, it will be attributed to the fact that Kobe motivated Ray to play hard . Nothing to do with Nate's coaching, or Rashard Lewis, Radman, or the Acquisiton of Fortson. If we win a ring, Kobe should get one too, he motivated us . Let me have it Kobe fans.
If the Lakers don't beat Seattle, it'll be because either: <ul> [*]Kobe was too focused on outplaying Ray [*]Other Laker teammates didn't step up, and/or [*]The Sonics are on a roll
If the Sonics lose to the Lakers, it'll be because: <ul> [*]Ray was too focused on outplaying Kobe [*]Other Sonics teammates didn't step up, and/or [*]The Lakers are better perimeter defenders than they are inside the paint
Ray Allen has always has always been able to put up 30+ and drain 3's all night, but now he's getting the attention he deserves because of the success of his team. I'll give Allen and Lewis their props along with Nate McMillan, but I wish them the worst tomorrow night. lol GO LAKERS!
If the lakers can control the perimeter and Caron and Odom put up solid games, I think we can pull it off. I think the lakers actually have an advantage in the paint in this one!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheNextJordan8:</div><div class="quote_post">Its sad how sometimes moderators act worse than members.</div> Yes because the comments I make or have made about the Lakers have been so wrong and offbase As for the game, teams that have had success against the Sonics this year have played small ball and frustrated the hell out of their shooters by giving them no real room to work. Which is why the Celtics have been the only team to have fiqured out the Sonics this year. With that said I don't think the Lakers have the players to do that in this game, unless they play Atkins, Kobe, Butler, Odom and Mihm all at once consistantly throughout the game. The Ray/Kobe match-up will be interesting as It always is but as Ray said in his interview yesterday, one one one match-ups don't matter to him, It's all about the W. Kobe's problem is when he decides he wants to prove a point, doing that tonight will just play into Ray Allen's and the Sonics hands.
Kobe's gonna make this a personal one-on-one game with Ray Allen. Meanwhile, Ray Allen is gonna forget about it all and just play regular Basketball, that is -whatever it takes to win. In short, Kobe is gonna jack up 10,000 shots trying to "show up" Ray Allen. And by doing this, he'll shoot his average 25% and lose the game. Kobe needs to grow up. He's been bugging me almost as bad as 'Melo does lately.
