...be prepared to watch a special MLB. The kid is good. Hope he learned his lesson and he's ready to stay off the hooch and abide by team rules. There is a "possibility" Cliff may play. So far, nothing def either way. My slightly educated guess is Alonso has been showing Chip and the team a bit more effort and remorse during the suspension time...
Thanks, man. I'm around. All it took was an apology and a better understand from the Mods/Global Mods that this panda kid doesn't rep sportstwo.
Glad to have you back but you should apologize to Wheels for making him cry. He takes this forum very personal. Also if you're unsure of something or disagree with something send either Wheels or myself a PM. We don't like mods from other forums on S2 fucking around here either.
I recommend PM'ing SLY first though, he has no friends at all so he is usually one to get a PM on here first.
LOL, next time I'll hit you guys up and TRY not to overact. I'm smarter than that...you guys do a good job. How sweet is it going to be to have Alonso back! 6'4", 242# with great speed and a hard-hard hitter. It's a shame he had a knee issue that kept him from playing alongside Matthews. Those two really would have sealed up the entire middle field. Great to have Alonso back! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RPv3C2b0qc
Alonso served a one-year suspension, sitting the entire 2010 season because of a DUI. Alonso was allowed to stay with the team and practice but sat the entire season that saw the Ducks go 12-0 and play Auburn in the BCS Champ. He was involved in another alcohol related incident. Further, he was suspended for opening 2011 game vs LSU. He did the crime...paid his time...earned his way back... I can't recall every complaining when Riley suspended a player for 14 games. Can you?
The OSU fan pot kettle hypocrisy + indignation makes for a rich blend of funny... thanks for my first lol of the day a couple of nice Kiko highlights starting 2:38 in this fine link, but feel free to enjoy the whole 10 minutes STOMP
He was suspended at the start of the 2010 season. He missed it all because of a knee injury. I seriously doubt he would have been benched had he been healthy. Then in May he was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass and ended up pleading to a lesser offense.
You are partially correct. But, as we've established before, Tlong, Chip is not a stranger to suspending players for an entire season or even kicking them off the team and pulling the scholie. Yes, Alonso spent last season rehabbing, but as you know, often players aren't out for an entire season for the injury stated. Fact remains, his suspension was for an entire season. 35-0
