Doesn't completely make up for the loss of Nelson, but its a lot better than Anthony Johnson/Tyronn Lue.
Not a bad trade. Orlando gets a PG to help them in the long run. He could be a key player off the bench.
I'm pumped. Alston > Lue > Johnson Not to mention he's an expiring that helps us resign Hedo this summer.
^That article says that Stan may have turned to Jeff to see what type of player Alston was in Houston. What the author forgets is that Alston played under Stan in Miami in 2003 so he knows what he gets with Rafer and knows that he fits in his system. I love this trade for Orlando. We gave up nothing and got a starting point guard. We've solidified ourselves among the best teams.
Exactly My thought on the trade, the could've gotten a 2nd rounder in 2033 and it still would have been better then Brian Cook.
