Is it just me or the Rockets really miss Bob Sura? Seriously, I didn't think he was that important to the team. he seems like without him none of the veterans are playing well.
About SKIP, I'll give him a month or two to learn JVG's system before i say anything, remember even MCGRADY struggled at beginning of last season.

Sadly they still lost the game. I think the trade was good for the Rockets and MJ. This is Mike James final year on his contract. The Rockets wouldn't be able afford bringing him back. This trade gives Mike James the opportunity to shine and showcase his skills. He wouldn't be able to do that in Houston playing next to Yao and T-Mac.

I think Rafer is great, but I do miss Mike James, i'm following the Raptors sort of closely this season just to follow Mike James, he was a great player who brought alot of energy to our team, he was just a spark plug for our team off the bench, so i'm really happy to see him do this well, alot of us knew he had the potential to be a goto guy in a team and he's just doing that.

I'm a fan of Rafer, but the Rockets shouldve known that they would need another creator/playmaker after trading James...I like how Rafer is running the team and keeping mistakes down, but when you have only one legit playmaker on the team, then of course you're going to struggle offensively...

    Welcome to JBB, John. [IMG]

You mention getting a second playmaker, and I agree with you. While Wesley has done a good job and can fill in, he's an original point guard and I doubt that he would be used as backup PG when Alston returns. Basically, we had Sura last year who could make plays, and a sparkplug who isn't the best playmaker in James coming off the bench. This year, that sparkplug is gone, but from what we've seen, Head can certainly suffice in that role. He's not much of a passer and playmaker yet, but with time and guidance from the veterans and coaches on this team, I think he'll be fine.

Clearly, he is not a NBA player, one way or another, Rocket would not win anything with him. he never distribute the ball unless he got no chance to make shots. YaoMing can not reach the ball at the right place and right time under such point guard. I am happy Raps traded him because I won't see a one man game in ACC any more.
