Joe Johnson's contract is up after this season. Amare's contract is done in two years. If they play consistent basketball this season, and are having statistical seasons like last year, what kind of money would you give them? Personally I would give Amare the Max, and I would give JJ something like a Q contract (42 million 6 years) if not a little more. What would you guys give them?
If both of them are to be re-signed, expect Marion gone. I'm thinking that the Suns would pull a sign-n-trade next season which would see them deal Johnson for a center. Only up to then would Richardson start full-time, and the Suns make a legit run at the playoffs. For some reason, my gut feeling is that the Suns don't want to give up Marion so quick.
I Don't think Amare will make max. I think Joe Johnson could make around 40-45 million. Just a bland Prediction
