Maybe he is and maybe he is not, some people are so sure he is !!!!!!
Like Larry Brown who said that Garnett is good and all but Amare is better.

Can he be the best high school player ever?

Here are the stats of all high school players in their rookie seasons

Amare Stoduemire

13 points,9.4 rebounds

Kevin Garnett
10.3 points,6.3 rebounds
Kobe Bryant
7.7 points,2 rebouunds,2 assists
Tracy McGrady
6.9 points,4 rebounds
Darius Miles
8.9 points,5.9 rebounds
Shawn Kemp
6.7 points,4.3 rebounds

There are more high school players but neither of them is good as Amare.
As you can see Amare is MUCH better then all of them and we all know how good players are Kobe,T Mac and KG today.

Can he really be that good?

Amare will break KGs rookie record for sure. And in a couple of seasons heck maybe next season Stoudemire will be an All-Star.

I think Kobe is still the best high school player.

Yeah, He is putting up some good numbers, but I think this is it. IMO he won't get better than this anytime soon.

rookie season, yes, so far. But, he'll never be as good as Kobe or Garnett! Also, I betcha that Labron James'll put up better #'s. And look at the guy with great rookie #'s! Miles! He is the worst of those guys! Kobe's #'s are the worst, and now he's the best player in the NBA! The rookie numbers obviously don't mean a hell of a lot!
