Interesting. I wonder if this has any legs to it?

ESPN Insider says that Golden State is picking for Golden State tonight and that a trade involving the Warriors is too complicated to get done tonight.

But no one is going to be able to beat out that Golden State package. The key is getting Amare to be okay with the trade. He could mouth off, talking about how he doesn't want to go to the Warriors.

Its odd that they would trade him to the same conference let alone division. But wheres there smoke theres fire. Kerr also said that he wasnt gonna give up Shaq...and Nelson said theres nothin goin on here.

Hi Folks. If the Stoudamire trade goes down as reported, for Biedrins/Wright/Belinelli/Curry, I'm going on hiatus from the Warriors and getting a Suns jersey. I've been a lifelong Warriors fan who has cheered for them since the '75 Rick Barry championship team but I'm disowning them after this trade.

I believe that Stoudamire peaked two years ago and is nothing but a name right now. Oh he can score, but he does very little defensively and on the defensive glass. Now the Warriors will be saddled with him with a 5 year max contract. Meanwhile, the Suns get 4 excellent young players who I believe in a couple of years will have the Suns looking down in the standings at the Warriors as Stoudamire kills their salary cap situation (along with the stupid contracts to Maggette and Jackson.)

Hope you don't mind someone jumping on your bandwagon (I loved watching the D'Antoni Suns.)

Chad Ford said the trade is dead, and was never close.
