He's just resting now. He rehabbed successfully, but he needs an offseason under his belt to get back in the swing of things.

With his minimal contractual impact and great degree of defensive relief, it will be no problem for the Suns to welcome him back with open arms. D'Antoni has always been a strong supporter, and I don't suppose that'll change now. While the team has been successful without him, there's no reason to believe they'll be less successful with him fully rested and healed.

If Amare could come back healthy and in good shape, Suns will maybe have the best record next regular season. Amare is so fast, quick and dominant center...
I'm not taking in the trades etc, but our lineup will be smth. like that if all the guys will be healthy:

    G - Nash/Barbosa/House
    G - Bell/House
    F - Diaw/Tim Thomas/Jones
    F - Marion/Brian Grant/Diaw
    C - Amare/Kurt

pretty sick, and Nash would have a superstar in his team so he could pass the ball more;D More alleyoops ;D

couple corrections.. suns wont have brian grant. he is done no way he can run with those sticks. look for them to get rid of eddie house also. he has quinton rich disease with his poor shooting no defense playoff performance. james jones has a 2 mill contract and hasnt done much that any other role player could do as well. look for him to be gone. otherwise, ya suns will dominate next year if amare doesnt turn into grant hill with his two knee surgery 1 year deal.
