Does Anyone Else Find It Just Amazing That Amare Stoudemire Has A Total Of One Assist In Nine Games?? Not 1 Asists Per Game, 1 Assist Total, That's Just Sad. He Just Can't Pass The Ball At All, Another Reason Is Marbury Just Does Not Know How To Make His Teammates Around Him Better, They Need To Play Penny More For Playmaking. Marbury Never Moves Wihtout The Ball, Here Is Where Kidd Would Have Been Great, Kenyon Martin Was The Same Way In Nj Till Kidd Arrived, Kidd Would Have Done Wonders For Amare's Game. Still, One Assist In Nine Games Is Ridiculous, Its Like Yinka Dare.
yinka dare? come on, thats harsh. dont get me wrong, the guy doesnt have webber like passing, but he doesnt have butter fingers either. he doesnt have anything resembling a back to the basket type game. he cant set other teammates up. when the ball is in his hands, its either from an offensive rebound, and put back, or they give it to him out close to the ft line and let him face up, make his spin move and try to dunk it. also, a problem is, other than marion, who can make an outside shot? the only people on the team that can shoot are scrubs or unproven players jacobsen, zarko. jj cant make a shot if his life depended on it, marbury is not a spot up shooter nor is penny. this offseason, they have 2 big issues to solve..... big man depth and shooters.
Joe is struggling he will be good.. THey need to play penny before he turns into a scottie pippen type player
well he's there to grab the boards and score some points...so he's all good...but a few assists every now and then would be nice...

Right now it's not just him, it's the whole Suns team that is a funk. Shawn Marion is third on the team in assists and he averages only 2 a game with Penny in fourth at 1.6 a game. That just shows that the team as a whole is having trouble distributing the ball. As a team they only average 17 assists a game, that's pathetic. However, a lot of it is on Amare, afterall, he only averaged only 1 assist a game last year also. He tries to force the ball to the basket himself too often instead of kicking it out. Eventually I think he will get his passing game going though as the offense as a whole gets it going.
To blame a team's losses on a lack of assists by their pf is ludicrous. Come back when you have something intelligent to say.
At least the Suns get to play the Magic coming up. (I think Thursday) That will get them out of their funk. Amare should definetely have more than just 1 assist though.
Amare has already tripled his seasons output in assists during the first half of the Bulls game tonight, he has three so far with just under six to go in the half
