Who do these things not make the mainstream news? http://www.militarytimes.com/multim...93#/Live RPG removed from soldier/51745112001
The protocol when a live explosive device is to NOT place them on a helicopter. You build a sand wall around the person and let them die. But, the pilot flew him anyway. Then, at the hospital, once a live round has been located the patient is to be taken out and put far enough away so as to not explode over everyone and left to die. That protocol was also tossed aside. A very heroic incident.
Thats pretty damn amazing. I'd rather watch stories on that then all the fear stories they have on the news.
The character and heroism of all the people involved makes me feel small. I suck compared to these people.
