Knock on wood, salt over shoulder, etc etc etc One of the best indicators of playoff success has been record vs. winning teams (.500+): GSW: 28-8 ATL: 22-10 MEM: 23-16 POR: 21-17 CLE: 19-15 CHI: 18-15 SAS: 19-19 HOU: 19-20 LAC: 19-20 NOP: 16-21 DAL: 17-23 TOR: 14-21 OKC: 15-23 I wish there was a way to split this before/after All star, but I think we have trended upward in win % since the break.
Looks like 8-4. Losses to Memphis 2/22, Washington 3/16, Memphis 3/21, Golden State 3/24; wins against SA 2/25, OKC 2/27, Clips 3/4, Dallas 3/5, Houston 3/11, Toronto 3/15, Phoenix 3/27, Phoenix 3/30. Still not bad at all! It put us four games over .500 against winning teams, fourth in the league. Can't be too disappointed in that.
1 of the losses, Kaman didn't play and Batum and Aldridge missed the second half. Another loss, all three of them didn't play.
Can't say I expected that. Nice analysis and insight! It seems like we've fared poorly against the top half of the West, but apparently all the playoff teams play roughly 0.500 ball against other playoff teams.
