Doesn't it seem so diferent to be watching the Bucks this year? They actually have an inside game, and they're usung it! Diferent style that will continue to net good results. As we know, jump shooting teams live and die by the jump shot, where as a team with inside scoring abilty seldom slumps, much like defense.A pleasant surprise hearing team mates say we need to run through Bogut, and that Drew is now a team Captain. Things are looking good in Brew Town.Andrew Bogut: Going up strong and finishing close up shots instead of looking to pass like last year. His standing up top directing some of the offense has opened up some space underneath for others to take advantage of. An excellent passer, and showing some attitude early. Amazingly quick feet defensively. Smart beyond his 21 years of age.Charlie V: My gosh, the exclaimation point on the end of a sentence. He is legitiment it makes me tremble sometime's thinking about it. So gifted offensively, love's Milwaukee, absolutely respects Bogut, he said :Bogut can just flatout play". Very good rebounder so far, and is such a weapon to have along side AB. Glenn Robison with an inside game.Michael Redd: Consumate professional, goes about his business averaging a quite 26. Letting the game come to him, wants to win more than have numbers. The "silent assassin " I call him.Ruben Patterson: Thus far a big drop off at the three when he is out. Agressive as advertised, meshes with Captain Drew's personality Will and can go toe to toe with the other three's in the EC. It will be nice to get Bobby back and have those two rotate, because right now there is a drop off when he is out.Mo W: Love him or hate him, I do both. Show's flases, then show's flashe's the other way, but overall has improved. The question all year will be can he hold up. Very quick, confident, and one of the guys who said we "need to run through Bogut because he is so talented".Charlie Bell: Thank goodness we have someone on the bench who is capable of contributing. Quite so far, but also solid.Brian Skinner: The other solid contributer off the bench. Playing unselfish, seems to understand his role, and early returns says he is playing his role well.Remaining roster: Needs to take advantage of oppurtunities when they come. For those of you you think Gadz is a good BB player, I will call you out for stupidity.[/I] Otherwise Gadz just blow's.Ersan looks lost for the time being.Coach Stott's: Doing a good job of comunicating with the players, and the players seem to like his style. I don't like small ball, but if it can be used effectively in stretches, why not?Overall: The inside tandem of CV and AB has been the story early on, and that is because it is haveing some sucess, and is exciting to watch. This is slowly and now assuredly becomming Andrew Bogut's team, just like I said it should and would last year.

Nice post UNF. I agree, this team is so much more different than last year, it's like a completely different team. It's so much more fun to watch this season. Mo Williams - In the first 2 games we've won he's taken a backseat to shooting the ball and distributed the ball. In our one loss he shot the ball 17 times and shot a terrible percentage. I like Mo a lot more when he takes 10 shots and goes with the flow of the offense. We are much better team when he's not shooting outside shots. He needs to find his identity as a player, is he going to be Eddie House on offense or like Andre Miller? Michael Redd - He had a lot of trouble in the second game against the Raptors. When are people going to realize his all around offensive prowess? People think Redd's just a jumpshooter but he scores from everywhere. He makes cuts to the basket, scores inside against the big guys and of corse has one of the best jumpers in basketball. His defense is a little better this season. Ruben Patterson - He's never going to be an offensive threat but thats not why we brought him in. He's a pretty nice defender and makes hustle plays. The fact that he doesn't need shots is a big plus. He doesn't take pride in points but defense. His ballhandling has impressed me.Charlie Villanueva - One word. Wow. His rebounding is whats impressing me most. He's gobbles up everything close to the rim. His passing has been a huge plus. Last night he got 25pts and his outside shot was falling. Not many PF's can go 3/4 from three. Amazing versatility. I love this guy a lot. Andrew Bogut - Who thought that Bogut could possibly average 18pg this season? He's showing a lot more confidence inside this season. Instead of passing it like UNF said he's backing down his man and getting the ball in the basket. Many times so far he's taken he's taken the ball three straight times on offense and scored. I'd like to see his rebounding up but with Villanueva gobbling up 11rpg it's not too much of a problem. His confidence is sky high this year. Again, I could go on and on about his passing ability. Ersan Ilyasova - He's so young and just getting used to his body. He's added a lot of weight and it will take him time to figure it out. Like UNF said, he's looked lost. Brain Skinner - I loved him 2 years ago when he played here, he's build like a champion bull and always plays hard.

The weakness of our team thus far is our bench. With Bobby out, Ersan behind the learning curve, and Danny G a bust one more time, other than Blake, Charlie Bell and Skinner, we are thin on the bench. The new Big Three of CV, AB and Redd has all of us on cloud nine. Our fourth scorer, Mo W, should mostly create his own shot, because from here on out the Big Three get's the touches in a half court set. Hopefully anyway.Great start to the season, and the leadership of Captain Bogut is just as amazing as his confidence right now. CV's rebounding is a pleasant surprise, but I am most impressed with his offensive skill set down low. Great hands! That, combined with the skill set of AB downlow, and a 25ppg sharpshooter outside, we have the makings of a sucessfull recipe, as long as our PG play doesn't drop.
