I can't stomach this stuff anymore. No point in watching a team that isn't trying to win. Last year, I gave up (later than this) and stopped watching basketball until closer to the playoffs and started watching the Rockets before settling on the Knicks and enjoying their games. Love to watch Hart hustle and make his faces and do all the things.

I bought Blazervision and probably shouldn't have, but oh well. I will just watch Knicks games on HD replay the day after and see how far they can go.

I'll probably check the box score and blazers news on Google, but I can't watch these games anymore. It's sad, especially after that little streak of great games and excitement that whipped the fans into a frenzy and made them love the team and effort, albeit briefly.

Fuck tanking, fuck phoned-in, phony performances. You can't fool me, team. They say players don't tank, but the problem is, they kinda do if they aren't coached and managed and told to win. They need a coach who gets after them consistently and cusses them out for losing and says winning is the only option. They need Martin Kove from Karate Kid to say, "mercy is for the weak!", they need to sweep the leg and no, I don't mean play dirty, but just with an attitude of winning is the only option and every game counts like their reputation is on the line.

Tanking sucks no question. I see the goal but yeah I’m with you. I won’t support trying to lose.
Your point that players don’t tank I also agree with. This team knows the goal is the lottery. They play that way.

I probably should join you - this team is dreadful to watch.

I don't mind a ton of losses, but I want it to be young players with hope for future season. Even if we have less talent I want to see a lot of effort. Having horrible veterans that are unwatchable, poor effort, bad defense, lose a lot, and are on huge contracts is about the worst situation a franchise can be in. I guess the only worst option would be if we didn't have our draft picks, so at least we have that.

Normally I'm always super excited to look at possible trades, but we don't really have anything of value and don't have a team worth adding an impact player to so that dynamic of trade possibilities is about as unexciting as I can remember in the last 35 years. So there's really nothing to be of much interest with this team for about 6 months.

Just a dreadful year to be a Blazers fan. Actually that is now at 4 years, which is on a path to being a horrific decade for this franchise.

That was last year with CJ Elleby and Drew Eubanks. Lots of effort but really bad basketball? No thanks.

Eubanks was on Phoenix last year.

I'd much rather watch Eubanks play than Ayton.

Need to move the vets for the best value we can get. They are actively hurting the development of our young guys. I don't think that's their intention, but it's happening.

Let's go! The team has no direction. I support this! Haven't watched a full game in probably 2 years. No need to! Management doesn't care, I'm not either!

Most “blazers fans” bandwagoners were not truly built for this. It’s trenches, it’s tanking for now. Buckle up or fade out

I'm all for watching the young guys. I'm not interested in watching chuckers who aren't even worth a good first round pick take half our shots while not playing defense.

I'll be watching this team. Some of the games I've turned off and gone back to just to turn them off again but that's only happened twice now. Most of the time I can be frustrated with the amount of usage going to Ant, Jerami and Deandre but there are parts of every game that I see something out of Shaedon, Deni, Scoot, Clingan (before the injury) and almost every minute that Tou plays that makes me excited for the future. We don't have the pieces to be a contender in the future yet but we have the pieces to be a fun team to watch again... hell I think we have the pieces to be a fun team to watch right now, we just need to remove Ant from the equation. (I really like Ant I just think he has a role on this team that hurts his game and the game of others, get the guy to a team that already has a pecking order where he'd find himself unquestionable behind at least a couple guys).

It is crazy how Jerami only ISOs in games where Ant is doing the same.

Anyway, I'm here through thick and thin... right now it's very thin but I'm here for it. GO BLAZERS!!!

I'm going to be pretty busy with HS and college basketball for about the next six or seven years. I'm hoping the Blazers can figure it out and get back to competing by about then...

As a lifelong fan I know winning cures all and a four game losing streak is when torches and pitchforks come out. I’m in a place where this era of Blazers has to earn my interest or I’ll spend my time and attention on other things. I know I’ve never turned off more games before halftime in my life. I don’t follow other NBA teams so if I watch another basketball team it’ll be the Ducks

I think a lot of long term Blazer fans will just check out the next few years, many will return if the team gets a playoff roster again but not all will return.

Oh if they're long term fans and they aren't dead, they'll return when we start winning more than losing and they'll definitely return for any sort of playoff run.

I would be way more interested in a potentially shittier version of this team that played mostly young guys. the 'you actually don't want that' finger-wagging evaporated pretty quickly when we saw clingan clean up our rim protection.

and if we can't fetch a first for Rob, having clingan + Rob and the kids as the cast of characters for the rest of the year would be enough to keep me tuning in.
