    I heard that Silva was trying to get onto the NYE card.

    Hopefully his next fight is against a compelling opponent at 205. I don't think his heart was in the fight on Saturday at all.

    Liddell's style would not very well against Anderson Silva. He leaves himself too wide open and as a result would get knocked the fuck out big time. I thinking we won't see Silva lose until some sort of super fight with GSP. I think GSP is explosive enough to take Anderson down and keep him there and disciplined enough to follow through with the game plan for all 5 rounds.

    There is no reason why Silva shouldn't be able to go @ NYE if he wants to.

    A sherdog reporter asked Anderson Silva about this rumour and he claimed to be unaware of it.

    You have to think that Chuck Liddell only wants high profile fights now, where he'll make money and keep his name on the marquee whether he wins or loses, but a fight with Anderson Silva following a devastating knockout might be the worst choice for his career.
