<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Blatche worked out for three NBA teams Toronto, Memphis and Charlotte before the start of the Chicago camp on June 7. On Wednesday, he worked out for the New York Knicks at the team's facility in Purchase.

He was scheduled to perform for the Orlando Magic on Thursday. He'll travel to Los Angeles today and work out for the Lakers on Saturday. He will wrap up his pre-draft tour with trips to Phoenix next Monday and Portland on Thursday.

All told, Blatche will have worked out for eight teams with picks from No. 3 (Portland) to No. 30 (New York). The bulk of those teams' first-round picks (seven total) are clustered between No. 8 (New York) and No. 21 (Phoenix). Blatche said he's been told Portland wants to see him in case the Trail Blazers trade their No. 3 pick. "He's really helped himself," one NBA scout said. "He's had great workouts. He's played well. He's a much better ball-handler, he can shoot it, he plays under control and even though he needs to get stronger, he can rebound."

The scout guessed that Blatche would be selected somewhere between No. 16 and 26 in the draft. A scout for a different NBA team thought Blatche would be among the top 20 players picked.

Blatche entered the draft process as an intriguing prospect. He averaged 27.5 points, 16.0 rebounds and 6.0 blocks at South Kent last season, but it's his combination of length and athleticism that has scouts comparing him to Minnesota's Kevin Garnett. Now he seems to be improving his draft stock with his workouts. </div>
