Re: Andray Blatche's Steady Improvement Andray has been really picking it up, lately, averaging 8.7 ppg and 7.5 rpg in the past 4 games. I really think that with Jamison out, Eddie Jordan should give Blatche some more burn and even start him in front of Hayes. The Wizards' efficency level drops down a lot when Jarvis is on the court. I don't really see what this guy can give us, besides jumpshots that clank off the rim. He has zero penetrating ability and relies on his jumpshot 100% to make the most of his minutes. Blatche, even in blowout wins and losses, is usually the only guy on the court that gives a sh*t about the game. He gives 100% every game, he just needs more PT, and any simpleton can see that. He has a long, versatile, and lanky body. PG ArenasSG StevensonSF ButlerPF BlatcheC HaywoodThat's one helluva big frontcourt.
Re: Andray Blatche's Steady Improvement How many games did he play to get that average lately. I havne't saw him play before and those numbers seem to be good enough to start for the injured Jamison. Hope he gets his minutes. And ya Jaris Hayes days in Washington are over.
Re: Andray Blatche's Steady Improvement Again - he picks up the slack with Jamison being out, tonight. 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Yep, this guy is a keeper.
Re: Andray Blatche's Steady Improvement He's been great ever since Jamison went down. He's really stepped up. The wiz has been pretty good defensively ever since he started getting a lot more playing time. Hopefully he and Songaila will provide a lot of energy off the bench come playoff time.
Re: Andray Blatche's Steady Improvement I always thought he had the talent, and potential to be a pretty good player. He's only like 19-20 so theres no telling what the future holds. But he's so so versatile, he can shoot the 3, rebound, take it in the post, I'm happy to see him improving like he is..
