With the slow start of the Bertos-Hernandez fight, most of us viewing this settled in for a long and slow performance. Hernandez threw some gentle jabs, while both fighters kept their distance from one another. Then suddenly, seconds later, we asked where did the fight go? An astounding right by Berto, a mere minute or so into the first round, didn’t just knock down Hernandez, it knocked down the referee, 2 of the judges and about 2 thousand people watching it all on tv. Hernandez, a great conditioned fighter himself, got right back up and was level headed and ready to continue. No words exchanged were between himself and the ref, no warnings, just the quick 10 seconds that nailed the coffin of his title fight. Some might look at this match and simply see Berto, an excellent and undefeated fighter simply getting the best of a fighter who simply is not on his own level. But if you think it’s strange, that’s because it probably is. Read more: http://myboxing.com/2010/11/28/andr...ez-the-slowest-and-fastest-fight-of-the-year/
