Well the 76ers are hardly ever on national TV, and I don't expect the team to be very good to finish up this season. But upon checking the box scores at the end of the night to check up on my 76ers; I did notice that Andre has stepped up his scoring for the past couple of weeks. Just recently he topped his career high, which he just set a couple weeks ago its self, by scoring 32 points against Portland. It seems like the Allen Iverson trade did do some good for him. Do you guys think he can end this season with a 20 ppg average? Seems possible about now. Lets keep an eye on how Dre plays offensively. (NLB)
This is similar in a way to the situation the Raptors had when they traded VC. Star player (AI, VC) is traded and a rising star on the roster is currenty the main guy (AI2, Bosh) The vet past his prime with some game still in him and a big contract (Webber, Rose) remains. Teams receive draft picks to help build there team. (Raps wasted it on Joey Graham but traded the other pick to the Knicks [Balkman] to gain cap space and sign FA's) Though, Rose had more game in him at the time then Webber has now (they're the same age), and the Sixers have some young players as well asides from Iggy (Carney, Green, Dalembert, Randolph...Williams).
I think it's very possible for Andre Iguodala to average 20 points per game. He has really stepped up his scoring as of late, and is starting to play more aggressively on offense. I remember that he has scored over 20 points in all of the last couple of games. There is no reason to think why he shouldn't continue his scoring
Who ever said that Iguodala wasn't aggressive enough to be a star in the NBA? When you playing with Allen Iverson it's kind of hard to get your offense going, be it because he is taking too many shots, or simple because your too intimidated to make plays. If your looking for reasons as to why the 76ers are playing better basketball since the AI trade, look no further than the Dre connection. Andre Miller and Andre Iguodala have honestly brought out the best in each other thus far.

It's ashame Miller is already over 30, it would be interesting to see Iguodala and Miller grow together throughout the years. We're all talking about Greg Oden, but Iggy might be the guy we can build around offensively. Last night was just remarkable, filling up the stat sheet in almost every category.
We are bumping this up....Dre follows up a triple double against Golden State with 23 points 15 ASSISTS and 7 Rebounds. He is close to becoming an all star, he should be at that level next season.
The future is looking bright for Philly. Andre Iguodala is turning out to be a stud, he already has one of the best all-around games in the league. However, as a Raps fan I'm still glad we picked Hoffa over him because big men are invaluable in this league.
Iguodala had 15 assists, 7 rebounds, and 23 points tonight in a win over NJ. Simply incredible. To bad we won, but hey **** happens.

I'd love to see Boston and Memphis get those picks and Oden and Durant to not declare.

We definitely made the right decision, I don't know what we'd do without a big man of Hoffa's talent and skill. His statue on the court is reminiscent of Wilt Chamberlain. His immense influence on the court is only overshadowed by his legendary personality, and delightful accent.
<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Andre Iguodala + Greg Oden > Kobe Bryant + Shaq O'Neal</div> hahahahaha Are you nuts? If the Nba came out with its top 50 players of all time right now, you know both Kobe and Shaq would be on the list. I wouldn't take Iggy and Oden right now over Shaq and Kobe right now, let alone in Shaq's prime. I wouldn't even take Iggy and Oden over Kobe right now. Iggy has had a good run since A.I.'s departure, but lets not blow this out of proportion. He hasn't proved anything.
<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Andre Iguodala + Greg Oden > Kobe Bryant + Shaq O'Neal</div>I wouldn't be so sure about that... That's kind of ridiculous to say atm. Iggy hasn't done nothing so far and Oden isn't even in the NBA. 3 in a row, that's something...
