The San Diego Padres have put righty Andrew Cashner on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right shoulder and purchased the contract of right-hander Odrisamer Despaigne from Triple-A El-Paso. Despaigne is set to make his major league debut Monday night when he starts the series opener against the San Francisco Giants. He is 1-3 with a 6.03 ERA in seven minor league starts this season.
