an that NY is a Democrat leaning state, since 2002 Republicans never got more than 40% of the vote in NY state (36% in the last election). I would not be surprised to see another democrat coming out for Cuomo, but a republican is unlikely to win there.
Actually a viola is just a little bit bigger version of a violin, used in the rhythm section. I played one for two years in grade school. It sucked big time and the nun who taught me was a major psycho. Wonderful memories………….
One of my nieces played the cello to perfection although I thought she was better on the piano. She was the lead cello player in the Portland Youth Symphony on the day she turned 13. She seldom lost any competition and I don't recall her ever placing less than second, although she usually placed first. Yes, she's an adopted Asian. Her mom is of the same ethnic background, Korean and drove her hard in both piano and cello. Her cello teacher used to tell her, "Oh honey, you are too gifted at the cello you need to drop the piano." Her piano teacher used to tell her, "Oh honey, you are too gifted at the piano you need to drop the cello." The bow for her cello cost $30,000.00. I forget what her cello cost but it was mucho. I think their piano cost $100,000.00 a couple decades ago. Yeah, they have money. Her dad worked for Tektronix where his father was one of the founders and the mother worked with my wife at Grandma's Cookies. Her mom calls me brother and both of their adopted daughters call me uncle and my wife imo which means aunt on their mother's side. We are very close. Their parents have offered to help the two girls, ten years apart in age, find their birth parents but they are very happy with the parents they have and have only expressed the mildest interest in meeting their birth parents.
