This is old but still hes saying hes slumping because of this 'allergies', yea right! </div> As a severe allergy sufferer, I admire Andruw for coming clean and not claiming he has "flu-like symptoms," like so many other athletes do. Bynumite, you obviously do not have environmental allergies, or you would understand just how debilitating they can be. It is NOT a joke. Regardless, no one is suggesting that he can blame his entire performance on allergies--for one thing, the impact will change as he moves from city to city--just that it would be difficult to play right now.
If the allergies is affecting him then I hope he could overcome them, because we REALLY need him to start producing, they are starting to boo him already.
