Junior middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo (19-1, 16 KO’s) will be fighting on August 20th in Mexicali, Mexico against a still to be determined opponent. Angulo, 28, has wasted a year of his career sitting out of action. Angulo experienced some immigration issues and that has hurt him, but he should have at least stayed busy and fought someone in Mexico. Now he’s finally coming back, and if he wins he could be in the running for a shot against WBC junior middleweight champion Saul Alvarez next year.
