MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – When 10-year-old Austin Smith heard Barack Obama had been elected president, he had one question: Does this mean I won't get a new gun for Christmas?

That brought, the camouflage-clad Sara Palin, to Bob Moates Sports Shop on Thursday, where she was picking out that special 20-gauge shotgun — one of at least five weapons she plans to buy before Obama takes office in January.

Like Palin, gun enthusiasts nationwide are stocking up on firearms out of fears that the combination of an Obama administration and a Democrat-dominated Congress will result in tough new gun laws.

Sorry, but guns are pointless. We need to really crackdown on who we sell firearms too

You Missquoted the Article. In your version it says Sarah Palin, really its someone named Rachel Smith:

That brought his mother, the camouflage-clad Rachel Smith, to Bob Moates Sports Shop on Thursday, where she was picking out that special 20-gauge shotgun — one of at least five weapons she plans to buy before Obama takes office in January.

Like Smith, gun enthusiasts nationwide are stocking up on firearms out of fears that the combination of an Obama administration and a Democrat-dominated Congress will result in tough new gun laws.

Typical over reaction. None of the guns mentioned up above, will ever be threatened. The guns that will probably have some sort of restriction on them are combat weapons/cop killers.

    My apologies . . thank's Minstrel.

Now where the hell were you while I was making a fool of myself on the main baord. I leave that stuff for teh OT board. I bet you let it sit thre for a while just so I could stew and as punishment for a stupid thread like "if the playoffs were to start today." I would be mad but can't say I didn't deserve it. :D

Thanks again for fixing my mess.

    "Cop killer".

    What a worthless phrase.

Every gun is a potential "cop killer".

Sorry, but your "arguement" is pointless.

We really need to crack down on who we let tell us what to do.

McCain votes pretty much the same as Obama on guns, anyway.

What we really need is a crackdown on the people calling for crackdowns.

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahaha

    fuckers.

Good, take all the guns away. I have already buried some good ones in protective boxes near my home and even in Washington where I am from.

As soon as they round up all the guns, I am gonna dig mine up and RULE YOU BITCHES.

I'll be KING OF THE WORLD:devilwink:

Yeah this is the irony for me...you can take away these guns from "legal" places of sale...but it won't stop criminals from getting or using them...It is kind of a pointless manuever IMO....Surely there are many more important matters to work on first......

And, indeed, I haven't heard Obama talk about gun control, except to assert that it isn't one of his priorities.

...don't kid yourself, you are power hungry too and deep down I know you would chose to be king in century's past rather than a struggling below average American!!! :tsktsk:

I would rather be KING of the present. Oh yeah.

But, you are actually right about my previous point about being King in the past. I would want to be King if I could retain my memory. I would have enough of an idea about technology to get some of the cool stuff from the future made.

I could at least get a good running toilet built. And a shower.

I bet they had stripper poles back then, probably a victim of revisionist history.

Besides, I grew up in Portland strip clubs...table dances FTMFW
