Mick Mulvaney Out, Mark Meadows In As White House Chief Of Staff

For the fourth time in three years, President Trump has a new chief of staff.

With his administration grappling with the response to coronavirus — and just months ahead of the next election — Trump tweeted on Friday night that congressional ally Mark Meadows will be his newest top aide at the White House.

Meadows replaces Mick Mulvaney, who like him, was once part of the House Freedom Caucus. Meadows has come to be one of Trump's closest allies on the Capitol Hill, speaking with him regularly and helping the president keep Republicans in line. He was a staunch defender during Trump's impeachment trial.

Anyone who tells the President like it is, especially when telling him what he can't do or say, incurs his wrath and is soon out the door.
This is the highest turnover rate in the history of the Presidency. It will settle down only when he gets nothing but yes people.

    Ya gotta show up....

Trump, however, has been considering replacing Mulvaney during the last several months, and started discussing the move seriously in the last several days, including consulting allies on Capitol Hill about whether to oust Mulvaney and replace him with Meadows, according to GOP lawmakers and aides.

In reality, Mulvaney had been largely sidelined during much of the bitter impeachment fight. To many Republicans, Jared Kushner — a senior presidential adviser and Trump’s son-in-law — has emerged as the second most powerful figure in the White House behind Trump.

Lately, White House staffers had wondered privately about Mulvaney’s career plans, since he had been doing an extensive amount of travel and had not been seen around the West Wing as frequently.....

Let's face it, Trump is considering replacing everyone that he appoints for as long as they serve. I've seen no exceptions.

This is how you maintain excellence and superior productivity.

Whether government, business or sports team.

Hire specific talent for a specific task/role for a specific time.

When there's an opportunity to upgrade , upgrade.

    Rinse and repeat.

Exactly. I'm certain the transition will be smooth and the dems won't even know the difference between one or the other other than the drivel Don Lemon decides to spew.

This is not what Trump says in the first place. He preaches one thing and practices another, typical Trump way of doing things.

Also, your statement would make a whole lot more sense if he actually did replace these people with someone better.
