SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Carlos Boozer changed his mind, much to the dismay of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the absolute delight of the Utah Jazz.

Boozer, a restricted free agent, said just last week that he planned to stay with the team that drafted him two years ago as a junior out of Duke. But on Thursday, the Jazz said they had a deal in place to bring Boozer to Utah.

"We've reached an agreement for an offer sheet to be delivered on July 14," said Kevin O'Connor, the team's vice president for basketball operations.

O'Connor said Boozer planned to sign the offer, but would not elaborate.

Messages left with Boozer and agent Rob Pelinka were not immediately returned Thursday. Just last week, Boozer told The Associated Press he planned to sign a deal with Cleveland.

Boozer hasn't signed anything yet, nor has Boozer or his agent confirmed any of this. All we have is a supposed "agreement", same as he had with us. Interesting.

He can't sign anything until July 14, So it could be a verbal agreement with them. We all know what those are like, they can quickly change [IMG] [IMG]

Right, but my point was that all of this is coming from Utah, and Utah only. Neither Boozer or his agent have confirmed any of this yet. And right, a verbal agreement means nothing. Just because they may have talked with Utah does not mean this is going to happen for sure.

Yea but Boozer agreed to the deal... I think he will make that money now either here or at Utah but not so sure.
