...time to vent. The Mavs are 0-7 against teams over .500 ; how awesome. From Dallas standpoint, things are looking real shitty right about now. Mavs could have had this game, but once again couldn't capitalize. Who do you blame? Well, Kidd really deserves a lot of it. You can't be shooting 1-8, that's just horrendous. Then there's Dirk, who was pretty soft in some crucial situations. Sure, he wasn't getting the "Boston calls", but he has to bring in harder. Terry was 1-8 today, which is bad, since he's Dallas' best bench player. Mix it all together, and you have another loss. On the small bright side. Mavs were looking much better with Kidd running the show, so I'm hoping Avery revolves more of the offense around Jason. And Josh Howard was playing very well today. It's been his best game since coming up. Sunday, Mavs play Spurs. I fear another loss.
Joker I give you a lot of shit for following the Mavs (all in good fun, mind you), but I am sincere in saying that I empathize with you. It is hard enough to follow a disappointing team in the East; it must be impossible to follow a disappointing team in each conference (in terms of potential, to both terms). What's more interesting is that this post could be placed in the Nets forum a couple months ago and then could not be more accurate (switch individual names where necessary, of course).
