Nash will also miss Wednesday?s game at Seattle. The two-time defending NBA MVP was voted to his fifth All-Star team (and his third with Phoenix) on Feb. 1 along with teammates forward Shawn Marion and center Amar? Stoudemire. Nash also will not participate in the NBA?s Playstation? Skills Challenge, but will be in attendance for All-Star Weekend activities in Las Vegas. ?Steve?s just not ready to play right now. He needs the recovery and rehab time,? said Suns Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager/Head Coach Mike D?Antoni. ?He hasn?t recovered as quickly as we anticipated. Hopefully, he?ll be able to resume play after the All-Star break.?</div>Hopefully Stern does the right thing and gives Nash's spot to Deron Williams
Wow, another open spot.Ray Allen, Baron Davis, Jason Terry, Chris Paul, Mike Miller. All could be potential to take Steven's spot
Actually, Deron Williams will probably take it, unless they need another big, which Gasol, Camby or Randolph could take.
It's gonna be Ray Allen, they're definetely replacing him w/ a gaurd and he's been playing great lately even if his team has been crhasing.
No, Deron Williams is 2nd in the NBA in assist per game, hes had a breakout season as far as scoring, and hes the reasons Utah is good....way better than Seattle btw. Deron Williams deserves it.
Ya, he's just a sophomore as well, and has played his best basketball. The Jazz are still continuing their success even with Boozer our. So it could possibly be Deron. I would like to see him in the ASG. But thee could be a slight chance the Allen might make it too.

Ugh.</div>Same reason some of the very good forwards didn't make it at first and still won't make it. He plays in the West...
Deron Williams should definitely get the spot, IMO. They'll be a PG short and Deron is having a spectacular season. I love Deron. Also, with Boozer out, Utah still definitely needs/deserves a representative. Deron should get the spot, without question. If not, my second choice would be Marcus Camby. He's the 2nd best center in the West, the best with Yao out. He deserves to be in there.
