<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Another Step Of Progress Darius Miles participated in five-on-five half-court scrimmages and light full-court drills during the Trail Blazers' practice on Sunday, making another step of progress from the microfracture knee surgery that has sidelined him for more than a year. "It was fine, it felt good to play with more than one person," Miles said. "I'm anxious to play. I love what we are doing. I love the chemistry and everything about what's going on right now." Blazers coach Nate McMillan said afterward there is no plan in place for Miles to return to practice full time, saying instead he would listen to team doctors and trainers and work Miles in as his body allows. Miles would not say when he hopes to actually play in a game. -- The Oregonian</div>
Wow, I was thinking about Miles the other day. Really, sometimes I completely forget he's still in the NBA. I don't see how he could help the team much, either, especially with the forwards they already have playing so well.
I do not really want to see him in the lineup until he is 100%. And I agree that he cant help us he can only hurt us, we should get rid of him ASAP.
You can't get rid of him. His contract is too big for me to see them reach a buyout agreement (Miles would be stupid to take anything less than the $27 million he is owed over the next 3 years), and he is absolutely untradeable with his condition and contract put together. Portland is stuck with him.
