UNLV junior guard Anthony Marshall will sit out the Rebels' season opener Friday after the school self-reported a second violation of NCAA rules limiting summer competition. Because Marshall participated in one game in a second summer league, he was ruled ineligible for one regular-season game after the school's appeal was denied. UNLV is left with only seven scholarship players for the game against Division II Grand Canyon.
