I think it's a ridiculous proposition to be anti-Islam. However, I think it's perfectly legitimate to be anti-Wahhabist. It's the same comparison to me as Christianity and the KKK. However, Islam is going to continue to have an image problem in the West as long as it doesn't stand up to its extremist fringes. And Congress is never short on ignorance.
I think that's something difficult to do, standing up to extremists. Like, how exactly has "Christianity" stood up to the KKK? I mean in general everyone knows the KKK is bad, but are there a lot of priests that speak out? Perhaps the same should be done in the Muslim faith more publicly?
