early in the 3rd when the Nets had a small lead and were playing decent with this new lineup, i really thought we were a healthy Marcus, healthy Nenad and an athletic shooter off the bench away from being a pretty good team. Were gonna get two of those, hopefully, soon. The shooter I'm still hoping for. But since we just lost, to the Martin and Bibby-less Kings..is there any reason for hope no matter what we get?

that's what I thought too. it's like we're in the game... could have won if it's not for atrocious perimeter D and turnovers... but, then I figure hey, these are Sacramento without their two best players!!! and John WHO? makes career night and puts a clinic on us. I don't know. I really don't know. But if we're not picking it up and picking it up like NOW, I think we should do IT.

The Nets should just blow it up already..

The blame for this game in particular solely goes to VC.. He didn't attempt to close out on any of the players assigned to him.. Frank tried his hardest to hide him but he failed miserably, as everyone person VC guarded established a rythym which carried into the 4th.. Downright pathetic performance from the guy.. One of the few Nets games i've watched in it's entirety this season, and personally if it wasn't for Sean, I would've turned it off at half..

Same here. Throughout the game even though the Nets were down, I stilla had a glimmer of hope because this loss wasn't because of front court production or bench production. It was just a matter of playing better defense and not turning the ball over which is somethign that can be fixed within the team as opposed to looking for help outside. Just need to get the offense and defense clicking at the same time and not suck to the extreme at either end. Was that 3-point shooting barrage by the Kings just an exception? Orcould itbe the Nets are just a bad team who find different ways to lose?

Half man half a brain... Jeez when John Salmons lights you up you are officially overpaid...

Kev-Mart could have gone for 50 tonight... I think Kid Chocolate could have done a better defensive job than Vince tonight. Pathetic

It's as plain as day to me that Carter has no business playing. He came back far too soon to appease certain people who think everyone has the same pain threshhold and should be just as productive when injured as when not. Since the ankle injury, Carter hasn't had anywhere near the explosiveness he normally has, which affects his ability to drive and, especially, to defend. Any misstep aggravates it, as he's been seen pulling up and favoring the ankle in pain nearly half a dozen times since returning.

Nets have a couple of stretches with 4 days off between games coming up. They should shut him down completely until January 2nd and see if they can heal the ankle with rest and aggresive therapy. Marcus could use the extra game minutes in the interim to try and get in shape. Then, hopefully, you might be able to bring a healthy Carter and Krstic back around the same time with Marcus well on his way back to form. It's a long shot but the only hope I see for salvaging this season without a major trade or two. This team isn't going anywhere unless health affords Carter the confidence and offensive options to take over a game in the 4th quarter.

In fact, I think Kings played a good defense on the Nets, but I always gets panic when the Nets areplaying the defense.

when did this team not blow? The team has fell below expectations for a while and as long as they keep the same main pieces this team will keep blowing harder than Supahead at an album release party.

Let focus on the positive Sean Williams.
