I have not heard much on how Steve Blake has been doing in the workouts. He was a great point guard for the Maryland Terps and he's one of the smarter players on the court.

The only team I have heard him tryout for was Miami.

    Any other news on him???

He has awesome court vision, if nobody gets him until the 50th pick, the Sixers should get him. I think he would do a better job then Buckner.

I'm a Maryland fan and I like Steve Blake, I don't think he worked out for many teams, theres a section on nba.com about the 2003 draft, maybe theres some info on him there, i saw a profile on him and every other player in the draft. Miami or Seattle would be a good pick for him if he goes undrafted.

he will be a solid role player for some team if he gets drafted or goes undrafted, he has a great work ethic, can D up really good, and is a solid passer

If larry hughes plays PG next year (he likely will) it would be good to have Steve Blake as a second string, but Tyron Lue is there... I like how hes back with Dixon (championship teamates). The wiz have a very young lineup, i just hope Dixon, Jeffries, and Blake get more playing time next year.

Blake is a fundamentals PG, not a fancy passer, but a good one. Hes not a scorer but has really good defence, and like go duke said, hes got a great work ethic.

what's wrong with a #38 pick being an average player in the NBA?
I wouldn't call that a wasted pick at all!

lue is a free agent and won't be back.
larry hughes needs to be traded and so does stackhouse.

i'm glad blake was selected and i hope him and dixon are the starters along with jarvis hayes.

yeah i doubt lue will be back because of blake, but IMO stackhouse should stay (and will with the 2 year extension), but i would keep larry hughes for one more year just incase blake doesn't do too well his first year.
