I think on nba.com, they have free pass right now, not sure if that includes the replays but i would think it would. I don't have the exact link since mine is international.
I think I remember hearing that this is year 6 of 10, so you've made it half way so far. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that Comcast won't get a similar deal once the contract expires, hopefully the team president does a better job in writing the contract, demanding that a deal to expand to satellite providers at a reasonable rate be included. We'll see.
Bummer about the 6/10. However, if this new Blazers squad does turn around the franchise we'll be in the driver seat regarding a new contract.
Or they become so desirable, Comcast overpays on their next contract and ups the carry right fees to an even higher number. This is something that the FCC should be looking at, in regards to fair pricing, which in the Comcast case has resulted in a near monopoly as to means of watching the games. Hopefully within the next few years we'll see an a la carte offering by some company, allowing consumers to pick the very few channels they want to watch. P.S. I've preached it before, and I'll preach it again, get League Pass Broadband for $120 for the season (or share it with a couple of friends, multiple users of the same account hasn't been shut down as of yet), then get an VPN that changes your IP location, you will no longer be blacked out from Blazer games. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than what my comcast bill looked like right before I cut the cord, and haven't missed cable nearly at all since. Just a suggestion.
I just want to see that Beat LA chant again from last night after the Sasha 7 points....that was fucking beautiful. was hoping for a sasha chant. Unfortunately since I'm in the LA market that shit is impossible.
Well, I found this. Guess it'll do for now.
So how long did it take for everyone to feel like we actually had a chance in that game? I had no hope they were going to win that game but was just excited to see them play. At the end of the 3rd I was finally starting to think they might actually win it but it took to the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter before I said it out loud. It was so completely different than I thought it would be. The Lakers all looked like they were putting in effort but were running in slow mo. Were the Lakers really that bad or are the Blazers going to surprise some teams this season?
