I didn't realize how annoying he was. Like for example these past 2 staidum games the focus would be "what is torts doing", the Torts interview the torts mouth reading.... Now we can finally focus on the game and the players. I don't think it was meant for him. He reminds me of a child always begging for attention. In retro spec he brought our team decent team to a good team. I'm grateful for that but his time was worn out fast, become more about torts and torts system then the rangers and the rangers system.
torts was a good coach, but he was tougher on the media then he was on his players... AV knows when to say what he wants in the proper forum at the right time! and my goodness, how stubborn was torts on the powerplay, i forget who it was that said, we are better at it this year cause we practice it more.... WOW!
