Saw a few highlights. I see the Devils haven't realized they suck yet. Probably due to their incredibly easy schedule to start this season. There schedule starting next game is no longer a joke. I mean, Carolina and Buffalo the last 4 games. Gimme a break. Of course, the Rangers were all hungover when they played Carolina. Giddy being 10 and 3.
The Grabner goal was ridiculous. He's so fast it's mind boggling. He absolutely faster than Hagelin but he can actually shoot. Other than last year if you look at his games played and his goals, he's a 20 goal guy. I'm not sure the Rangers can let this guy be exposed in the expansion draft. It's my understand now that Lindberg is exempt because he hasn't played two years in the league. I would think Pirri would be exposed rather than Grabner. "One of the rules is that the Rangers must expose two forwards who have played at least 70 games over the last two seasons or 40 games this season and are under contract for 2017-2018. " My guess out of Pirri, Nash and Raanta. They lose Raanta. Pirri would not be a good fit on an expansion team.
Nice bounceback effort after the loss. Kreider had a strong game and Buchnevich another goal. Apparently Hellberg or Skapski can be the goalie they expose which is strange but I'd do everything to keep Raanta.
Yea I saw the game. The speed and passing killed the Flames who suck. Lundqvist made great saves early
