that the Blazers medical staff should be drawn and quartered for letting GO play without knee pads? I've been going nuts about this since the Magette injury last season. I'm seriously so angry and sad I don't even know what to say. Why the fuck were there no kneepads?!?!?!?!?

Was the injury from banging it on something? I could only see it on YouTube so it was hard to see.

Mixed reports. I didn't watch the game, just read this during a holiday dinner downtown. Absolutely destroyed my evening. Poor, poor Greg. Horrible, horrible night.

I agree that I wish he'd been wearing kneepads...but it had nothing to do with this injury. Everyone on the Blazers is saying it was "non-contact". To me this is almost worse than if he'd hit it on something...

I'm wasted from the holiday party tonight, but believe me I will do so tomorrow and going forward.

Definitely a good idea for the future, but kneepads wouldn't have prevented this.

That's very scary indeed. According to Greg's chart, things should turn for the MUCH better starting in November of next year. I didn't want to say anything, but since his senior year in Highschool he has been in a very injury prone period of his life (strong influence of his Sixth lord of [bad]health in Vedic Astrology). Next fall he enters into a time that should massively favor his career (10th lord of career).

Like I say in other threads. We should tank at this point we don't have a prayer, might as well add to our talent pool. I think Greg will come back from this. I do not think the team will come back from this until the 10/11 season.

Been reading about Vedic astrology for a couple of years now. Vedica astrology of India is far more predictive then Western Astrology which is better at describing personality and psychology. It's pretty amazing really. It predicted accurately my marriage, a major car wreck I had and a broken off engagement among other things in my life.

Oden is in the sub-dasha of his sixth lord which bodes a strong potential for bad health. This period ends in November of next year. He then enters into a major-dasha for his career lord (10th house). So I've been saying since last year that 2010/11 will be his beast year. You can archive search on blazersedge for those statements as I wasn't here yet.

I thought he might have an injury riddled season and was praying it wasn't so, but I never thought the whole season would go 20 games in. The one and only plus I can see from this is that we might be able to resign Oden super cheap and then have salary for one more player.

LOL! When you said "charts" I thought you were talking about bone density charts by age or something...

Man, I typically roll my eyes when my Mom and others I know start talking like this but in this case, I'll take it. Whatever house and sub-lord masha masha masha I gotta worship to in order to keep GO healthy, I'll do it!
