This morning, Jim Rome went on a nice little rant about the Lakers'. First, he defended them saying teams go on 3 game losing streaks all the time, that this isn't the end of the world, and that they lost a game to a damn good team by 2 points on the road. He said that Kobe Bryant missed a shot he makes 9 times out of 10 and that Lakers' fans and NBA fans need a reality check if they think we're really finished. Then.... He went on to rip Gasol a new asshole saying that if he wants to talk to the talk, he needs to walk the walk. He said that Gasol has made multiple cries to the media about his lack of touches, about Kobe shooting too much, etc..etc..etc.. He went on to say that Gasol needs to go to the hoop hard, earn his touches, and not settle for jumpers. Go with authority and to convert on the chances he does get. He said Gasol needs to man up or shut up, pretty much. Loved every minute of it. And I fucking hate Jim Rome.
not settle for jumpers? You mean the ones from 16feet and in he is probably 70% from.....yeah, he should stop doing those :crazy
Actually, he's only nailing about 40% of his jumpers according to 82games.com And his eFG% is even lower, @ 34.8%

Mason and Ireland were just defending the kid the other day. Why are they railing him? He's been better than Gasol recently. His defense has been damn good and when given the chance on offense, he has produced.
