Dude was a one-man wrecking crew. Oh, and that facial he put on Oden was naaa-aaaasty! Had to be there to appreciate it. ;)

Yeah, all said here earlier: age; free throws; Brandon trying to shrug off his poor performance by going one-on-onesville; poor help defense; sporatic poor zone; Okafor's Robin to Wallace's Batman; Felton hitting timely shots; Diaw's trey....

When Oden got stuffed by Wallace, though, I sensed the wind going out of the Blazers' sails.

I'll give Sergio credit. He had a decent game. So did Bayless, though....other than a few rookie driving into traffic miscues.....

I'm still glad I drove up here, though.

    Go Blazers!

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I always wanted him on the team. I still really hope he's available and KP adds him.

    A future of:

    Bayless/Blake
    Roy/Fernandez
    Wallace/Batum
    Aldridge/Outlaw
    Oden/Przybilla

    would be tremendous.

Nope, let it burn to a fuckin crisp.

Outlaw can get his own shot. Doesn't matter if it doesn't go in for 2 straight games. That 3rd game he will look good.

But KP said he wants to let the cake bake. He's too buddy-buddy with this roster to make such a deal.

Bake it KP! But first you have to STUFF IT with gooey goodness and STICK IT in the oven.

Not that KP's reluctance to make trades during the season frustrates me at all. :sigh:

strawman deluxe. Has anyone ever opposed a hypothetical with Travis and Wallace as the primary guys swapped? Hell, I seem to trumpet TO's positives as much as anyone here yet I repeatedly offered him (or Martell who I think they'd want more) up for Wallace plus Joel startng last year. I don't recall anyone speculating on Gerald in red and black prior to that... I'm up for a Labron for Raef + Travis too fyi

Good luck getting him without including Roy or LMA.

Tell me how I am clueless. Didn't that team invest in Larry Brown as a coach? How are the Blazers going to max out Wallace without the Miles money?

I love the guy's game but he's gotta keep that damned mouthpiece in his mouth - that's one of the most annoying things I've seen on the court in some time!

Yep, I would definitely love to see Wallace on the team- but what would it take? Maybe Raef, Rudy and a first round pick?

    yes they did... and?
Wallace already has a contract with 3 years remaining before a player option year so there is no reason to max him out in the near future. If Portland were to trade for him, they'd also own his Bird rights and could max him out after his contract was up regardless of their cap situation. The only way that Miles's $$$/lost potential capspace could come in to play is that the Bobs and Blazers wouldn't be as able to pull off an imbalanced trade in the dollars exchanged. They could still clear about 8M in capspace by renouncing Travis Blake Frye Raef and Ike though, so even thats not really an issue.

not surprising since we (outlaw/LMA) played some of the softest defense on
him i've ever seen in the NBA - like nobody was guarding him at all 1/2 the time.

Don't blame Aldridge because he had a hard time guarding a SMALL FORWARD. Blame the defensive set that always had our POWER FORWARD guardign the opposing teams SMALL FORWARD.

Outlaw sucks on defense, so that was to be expected.

lack of effort and intensity was the problem, not the fact that he had to guard a slightly shorter player.
