No i doubt we will resign Skip with Four point guards on the team.

 

yeah skip aint coming back for sure. gg is looking for 2 more players: a swingman and if available, another big man.

Grunwald, who gave the 31-year-old Brunson a one-year deal to back up Alvin Williams and Milt Palacio, has some specific needs he wants to address.

A backup shooting guard or small forward is tops on his list and he'd like to add one more big man if possible. None of the players he gets now will be expected to be significant contributors next season, they will simply provide depth to the roster.

Brunson, entering his seventh NBA season, played sparingly for the Chicago Bulls last season, appearing in 17 games. He's had two stints with Portland, two more with the Knicks and spent a couple of weeks with Boston in a 190-game career.

"He's never really got a chance to play a lot of minutes but I think he might here," Grunwald said of the 6-foot-4, 190-pound product of Temple University.

But he won't be asked to do much in Toronto. With Williams in the starter's role and Palacio the primary backup, Brunson will be an emergency fill-in.

To make room for Brunson, and whomever the Raptors pick up in the next little while, the official retirements of Hakeem Olajuwon and Eric Montross are expected soon.</div>

Raptors21, u should stop assuming things like that. unless u have evidence then dont say stupid things.

 

Why would he want more players? we have to many right now. He has to buy out hakeem and hunter to make a roster spot. He must mean by trade.

right now we have 16 contracts. Hunter, Montross and Hakeem would be waived. that makes it 13 contracts. now we can add 2 players to make it 15. it makes total sense.

 

Plus, it wouldnt hurt to have an extra few bodies, because the Raptors havent had every player dressed in a long time!
