Oregon has moved up to #3. (more about this later) A few comments... I'm surprised Stanford didn't move up to the top 6 or 5 after beating USC. And they were the better team last night. But even this early in the season teams are never radically moved up the poll. I think #9 is a little disrespectful. USC remains the top one loss team. I think that's appropriate. After seeing MSU getting their fannies handed to them at home by a so-so Notre Dame team, why is Cupcake State still in the top 25? Why not replace them with Oregon State, Northwestern or Rutgers? OK, Oregon. It's hard to say if we deserve to be #3 after our first 3 games. It's hard to gauge us with 3 tomato cans. This week will tell us a LOT. AZ is #22 and it will be an excellent test for us. Wifey will be out of town, so it's grilled teriyake wings.... and I can turn the sound up as loud as I want.
I don't think its disrespectful to have Stanford at 9. We don't know if USC is going to live up to the #1 billing.
USC will get their center back soon.... and talent isn't an issue.... the big bad elephant in the room is their heads.... Can they mentally handle what has happened.... Lamo as a coach, Barkley as a pre madonna and two recievers that will be working out for pro scouts by next week... I'd say USC is real close to full implossion.... The media down there wont help but throw gas on that fire too! It was NCAA title or bust for USC this year.... big bump in the road by a falling happy tree!
