Its looking more and more like this game in Portland against Denver on last day of the season could very well be for the division and HCA. Wow! I would LOVE to be there for that game! If you look at : Portland : http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=por Denver : http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=den and Utah: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=uth and guesstimate crystalball the remaining games for each team it sure looks like April 15th is for all the marbles. My guesses are Portland going 9-3, Denver going 8-4 and Utah 7-6. If Utah has a shot at the end then they will have earned it. If my guesses are right then we would be tied going into that last game. Thats crazy!
I wouldn't mind Denver playing Portland in the playoffs at some point so I can go and watch the games (from Denver).
Speaking of April 15th, we need Cleveland and LA to stay with in a game of one another so that last game in L.A vs Utah means something to the lakers.
Are you kidding me this shit is crrrrrazy! Every game counts, the teams are fighting for homecourt advantage and the East is playing tough for winning records. The Blazers got tested during the start of the season and their new found experience and composure is really starting to shine through. They've shown they can play the playoff style basketball, ala Cleveland, plus they've really took it to the teams they should be beating. This team is well on its way..
You're in the playoff race, congrats. Once you get into playoffs, everything you did in the regular season is off and it's a whole new ball game.
Utah will be playing a Lakers team that will be fighting for HCA in the finals OR a 2nd string team cause its already been decided. That should play a role for you guys.
The only games we would not be favored in from here on out are the games @ Houston, and @ SA. If we simply take care of business and win against teams that we're supposed to beat, we should have the division lead.
Utah has a pretty brutal schedule to end the season. If they can pull that off and win the NW Division, hats off to them. But we need to take care of business on this homestand big time and go at least 3-1.
