<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As for who emerged a step ahead in the latest showdown Harrison had with fellow first-round prospect Rafael Araujo of BYU, that question's answer is more open-ended.
The Jazz do not permit media members to see the actual workout and decide for themselves.
Those who did watch suggest Araujo, a potential mid-first round or even a possible lottery selection, probably is likelier to be taken before Harrison, a projected late first rounder.
But no one was willing to declare either a clear-cut winner after this, their third head-to-head face-off in front of NBA scouts.
"Both of them," said Kevin O'Connor, the Jazz's senior vice president of basketball operations, "did things that we asked them to do.
"They did it," he added, "better than we would have thought they would."
The 6-11, 295-pound Araujo, O'Connor suggested, is a possible match for the Jazz, who own the 14th, 16th and 21st selections in the draft's opening round.
"He's a dying breed. He's a center. So, he's gonna get a lot of play," said O'Connor, whose club is searching for help at the power forward and center spots. "You ask, 'Would he be a nice fit here?' Yeah, because, you know what? He's a worker. He's a tough kid. And he's improved."</div>

The chances of Utah taking Araujo are very high, provided he's available at 14. He's got everything Utah are after, however other teams are scouting him a lot.

I think the Jazz should actually gamble and hope he's around by the 21st pick, but they'll probably take him with the 14th or 16th pick because he's the hometown BYU guy. I don't mean to sound racist or anything, but am I the only one who thinks they will go for the white guys (Podkolzine, Monya, Humphries, Swift, Varejao, Samardziski, Jackson, Araujo, Vujacic)?

No, your not. I think that to, just look at the roster. For whatever reason, they prefer the white players to black players. I'm unsure why, maybe it's because they're the Utah Jazz. They also like the hometown guys.

I don't see the big deal with the players race, I just want them to play hard nose basketball. I think the Jazz go out and hunt guys who play their brand of basketball, and the brand of basketball they are trying to sell now is no superstar, just plan heart and hustle out there on the court. Which is a type of basketball I love to watch.

Also, Do you think people would be bringing up this subject if it was the other way around? I think not.
