I'd be devastated if we lost either of them next summer.

I have said this before and will say it again, Wes will get paid 13-15 mil per if he has another solid season, Klay just got 70 mil for 4 yrs. SG is one of the weakest positions in the NBA and Wes is one of the better SG's and can play both ways and is a great team guy. Caps going up and these guys and their agents know it

We might actually be able to resign them cheaper since they are unrestricted. Deng got paid a hell of a lot less than Parsons.

I'm confident we will be able to keep both. I see the Blazers being willing to match other offers and the players enjoy being here.

The thing is if we keep both along with LA and Damian's extension we won't have any cap room. That'll probably be ok but it means Olshey will have to fill out the bench with low cost options. If Meyers, CJ, TRob, Barton, or another player greatly improves we will have to let them walk.

When thinking about replacing a player the first thing a lot of people do is go to other teams rosters. When first you should find out if you have anyone on your current roster who can replace them. I personally could see a lineup with Batum at the 2, because why not?

    Anderson Varejao got $10m/per...

    Gortat got $12m/per...

He's going to get at least that. I think it's an easy choice - you re-sign RoLo.

....or look to move him for Hibbert.

Wes is going to get a huge raise.

I think it'd be smart to trade for some insurance - Iman Shumpert anyone?

If this team makes the WCF you pay everyone and keep the team together even if it means going over the cap.

If this team gets bounced in the first or second round you have some tough choices to make and won't be able to keep everyone.

Interesting. If OKC won the title in 2012, they probably would've kept Harden, right?

No. Their owners do not have the financial resources that PA has.

Actually Lopez and Mathews are not free agents until after the season ends so they're under contract right now

I'm not advocating trading Wes for Iman.

In fact I think Iman is perfect for a 6th man role. But it wouldn't surprise me if some team offers Wes close to the max this summer.

It would be a sad day if he bolts to another team. Hopefully he stays and won't ask for big bucks

I agree but if they don't make the WCF, Thats when you look at Lopez for Hibbert trade?

Lets see what Hibbert does this season, he was a mental midget last year. Lopez might not have as much talent but he has the heart and attitude of a warrior.

For the price of Hibbert and the risk of Hibbert you could almost pay Rolo and keep TRob

DeAndre Jordan will make 11 Mill this year with his contract expiring. You have to believe his contract will be looked at also should they make Lopez a new deal.
