Week 17 of the NFL betting lines regular season came to a close last night, as all 32 teams were in action. Despite losing their games, the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals were the beneficiaries of their rival’s misfortunes, as they were able to qualify for the final two spots up for grabs in the AFC. Although each team lost its final game of the regular season, many people, we included are wondering, if the price per head Cincinnati Bengals or the Denver Broncos, can be more then just a one and done team this playoff season?

For all intents and purposes, the Cincinnati Bengals have a much better chance of winning this coming weekend, then they did last night. The Bengals will travel to Houston, to take on a Texans squad that is in pretty rough shape, as they are on quarterback number four entering the playoffs. Conversely, after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs this past weekend, the Denver Broncos have the unfortunate luck of welcoming the Pittsburgh Steelers to town next weekend. Making matters worse, is that the Broncos will be facing an angry Steelers side, because of the Bengals.

Essentially, for all intents and purposes, a Bengals win over rival the Baltimore Ravens, would have allowed the Steelers the opportunity to have a bye week. Instead, because of the Bengals narrow loss to the Ravens, the Steelers were forced to finish as the fifth seed. Thus, showing fans and critics alike that the Steelers have the best bookie software odds to face Green Bay in the finals, will be on Ben Roethlisberger and the rest of the team’s minds when they take on the Denver Broncos.

As we noted earlier, most fans and analysts alike want to know which team, the Cincinnati Bengals or Denver Broncos, have a better chance of moving onto the second round after wild card round? In our opinion, we truly believe that the NFL God’s are on the Cincinnati Bengals side and not the Denver Broncos.

The Bengals go into this weekend’s game verses Houston with two motivations. Firstly, Cincinnati wants to show that the last second game winning touchdown the Texans scored on them a month ago, was completely lucky. On paper, Cincinnati is the better team, and during that game, they proved they were the better team. Unfortunately, they were unable to come away with the win on that day. Secondly, the Bengals were seen by many as a team that couldn’t win five games let alone nine, with that in mind, Andy Dalton, AJ Green and the Bengals defense will want to show, that they can beat anyone in the league.
